REGISTER FOR 2016 MONTANA MARATHON

Billings, MT—The Montana Marathon returns to the Magic City on Sunday, September 18. This year by popular demand, the Montana Marathon Relay is back. Teams can have 2 – 4 members race while recording one overall team score at the end of the race.

Registration has begun for the full marathon, half marathon, 10k, team relay, and kids events. Discount pricing for early registration lasts through midnight August 30.

The marathon course starts in the community of Molt, west of Billings, and is on paved roads the entire way. Shuttle buses will run prior to the race between the Billings Senior parking lot and Molt. Medals will be awarded to all finishers.

Those who have run this race in recent years report that it is about as far as one can get from a big-city half marathon race like those in New York, Chicago or San Francisco. The first half of the course is long straightaways through wide-open prairies, with few if any spectators along the route. After winding through the city along several twists and turns the race straightens out and stretches along Poly Drive, Colton Boulevard and Parkhill Drive. The race takes runners in a largely eastward direction, toward the finish line at Daylis Stadium just off Third Street W, near Billings’ Pioneer Park.

Visit montanamarathon.org for details on the event, course, times and registration. Packet pick up will be at Time Out Sports in the West Park Promenade on 17th St. W & Grand Avenue.
